Each clay party includes a guided hand-building project. Depending on the party, guests might make mugs, bowls, planters, trinket dishes, little sculptures, or another fun project chosen for the group.

No. Your pieces need to dry completely and then go through the kiln twice. We’ll finish the firing process for you, and your pottery will typically be ready for pickup in about 3-4 weeks.

Ceramics naturally involve some unpredictability. We take every reasonable precaution, but occasionally a handmade piece can crack or break during drying or firing. That’s part of working with clay.

Non-attachment is such a process.

There’s plenty of room for creativity, but the group generally works from the same basic project so our instructor can guide everyone comfortably. Guests are encouraged to personalize their piece however they like. If you decide to go completely rogue, we will do our best to guide you to have the best outcome.

Our standard clay party package includes up to 8 guests, with additional guests available for an added per-person fee. Contact us for larger groups and we’ll help figure out the best setup.

If your party has less than 8 guests, you can just come in during our open hours and use our drop in services for your group.

During your party, depending on the number of people…we will still let our members have access to the studio quietly work on their pottery.

We try to keep our parties scheduled for specific days so our members can schedule their work time around them.

If you want to rent out the entire studio, include that in your notes when you fill out your party request form. We will send you specialized pricing for your needs.
